Idea Couture is looking for a unique person for the role of Manager, Global Collaboration. This role requires the successful candidate to not only manage teams and initiatives on a global , but also have the ability to ideate and innovate. We are looking for someone who is well organized, facilitate collaboration, someone who is equally at ease in front of clients as they are with managing projects. This is truly a right-brain, left-brain position.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, creative, fast paced, and rapidly changing environment. We foster an environment where strategy consultants + experience architects work together in applying design thinking to solve business problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working in a cross-functional environment.
• Manage project collaboration on a global scale.
• Liaise between the client and internal working teams often in offsite locations.
• Nuanced understanding of client product and service offerings.
• Ability to manage client expectations.
• Coordinate project meetings, collaborations and deliverables.
• Proactively track & monitor health and status of project.
• Proactively track all issues and changes.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, severity and impacts, determine and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Keep lines of communication open among all stakeholders.
• Plan, organize, lead and manage project team assignments, activities and project team members; including contractors, full-time and 3rd party vendor resources.
• Plan for and conduct regular project team status/review meetings across all disciplines.
• Prepare and/or present projects status reports to various levels within management.
• A very high level of discretion is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years in process management / project coordination & management on a global scale.
• Working knowledge of innovation process and collaboration methodologies.
• Proven track of success in managing product / service development projects.
• Previous experience in managing teams of varying resources including creative, analysts and technical teams in disparate locations.
• Previous consulting would be considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills, with very high attention to detail.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to facilitate discussions.
