Scott Friedmann

Scott is a creative business artist who connects big ideas with brands, products and campaigns. A dynamic thinker who operates at the intersection of business model innovation, social media and service design, he is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to develop innovative ideas for Idea Couture’s clients. Scott has worked for clients including Crate & Barrel, Meredith Publishing, Aviva, Newell Rubbermaid and Kitchen Aid. Scott has helped uncover business changing ideas for many Fortune 500 clients in industries such as food, pharmaceutical and health & hospitality, from Kraft Foods to Four Seasons. Scott cut his teeth on the brand side of life as head of marketing of a new age beverage company and played a pivotal role in marketing at Canyon Ranch Health Resorts as their head of interactive marketing. Scott also sits on the Board of Directors of Better-The-World, a start-up social venture. He began his consulting career at Bain & Company. Scott holds a HBA degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Masters in Management of Hospitality from Cornell University. He moonlights as a food performance artist and cooking instructor. Scott also sits on the Board of Directors of Better The World, a social fundraising startup.
