I only checked one site in the US but the cost to cover a $2,000 device for 3 years was $559. This is with NO deductible. I really don't understand why apple can't figure out how to provide comprehensive coverage for their products. It is almost underhanded to sell an 'extended warranty' which does not cover the majority of issues customers will have. And being the brand that every one adore have made the organization arrogant, sloppy and to focused on marginal profits.
