BUSINESS ANALYST

Idea Couture is looking for a unique person for the role of Business Analyst. Unlike typical BA roles, we are looking for someone who is not only analytical in nature, but who also has a passion for design and who can translate that passion into their role. As a Business Analyst at Idea Couture, your role will never be dull! One day you might be developing web requirements and the next you could be helping to build a financial model for one of our Fortune 1000 clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist clients in identifying business and functional requirements; work with project teams to ensure client solutions are designed and developed to meet client objectives
• Provide input to the business and technical specification reviews to ensure requirements are met
• Experience developing test plans and conducting testing
• Participate in client meetings, conduct and lead business requirements gathering sessions
• Manage one or more assignments concurrently
• Liaise with internal and external clients at a functional level
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance various project documents including requirements, web specifications, site maps, financial reports etc.
• Provide production support liaising with the business and the developers
• Will be required to liaise with various vendors and internal resources
• Provide accurate estimates for tasks that are assigned
• Establish on-going positive client relationships
• Provide updates to the Business and Project Management on new and on-going projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

• 1+ year(s) experience in developing requirements for web application development
• 1+ year(s) experience in an associate / analyst role
• University or college degree in a relevant discipline
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of multiple skills set and backgrounds, and at all levels within an organization.
• Energy and ability to work well with others in a client-focused, innovative environment.
• Flexibility - demand can be cyclical in nature and the successful candidate must be ready to put in an extra effort at peak times.
